Hiya!
If you play City of Heroes, then maybe there's a chance you might run into my motley assortment of characters. Each one of them can be found on Triumph server, and are part of the Superhero Group called The Omega Concern. Read through these bios, tell me what you think, and come fight crime with me. :D Please be aware that the attitudes and opinions expressed by these characters are just that, the character's; and do not necessarily reflect on the opnion of the creator.

The Packrat
Archetype: Scrapper

Hair color and Style: The Packrat's hair is pure white in color and in length is to the middle of her back. She always wears it pulled back into a ponytail but otherwise doesn't style it.
Eye Color: Black
Race: Human
Ethnic group: Spanish
Speech and Dialect: The Packrat has a high, girlish voice salted with a Spanish accent. She often interdisperses Spanish with English. She is fluent in both languages.
Body Type: Athletic
Physical condition: The Packrat is in the top physical condition for a woman her age, height, and body weight.
Physical Afflictions/Illnesses: Photosensitivity. Because of her heightened sense of vision, the Packrat can be blinded by intense bursts of light and even raw sunlight. When she goes out during the day, she wears scalera contacts specially designed for her by Yoiko that filters most forms of harsh light.
Distinctive Features: The Packrat has been genetically altered to blend in seamlessly with low light environments. Her skin is a deep dark charcoal grey that makes her virtually invisible in shadows. Because of the reodentia DNA fused into her as a child, an unexpected side effect was a two foot long prehensile rat tail that she can use as a third hand.
Physical Quirks:  Because of the stress the metallic implants place on her natural superhuman healing ability, the Packrat must eat her own body weight daily to maintain a normal metabolism and to prevent her healing factor from regecting the implants.

The Mental Packrat

Fears: The Packrat has an overwhelming fear of the undead. When facing undead opponents such as the Vahzilok or the Banished Pantheon, she needs the strength of her Supergroup mates to overcome her terror and tackle the foes.

Emotional Issues: The Packrat is consumed by the need to prove herself. She is insecure, and often feels she must prove her worth by charging headfirst into a situation that very well may be ( and usually is) more than she is capable of handling.
Prejudices: The Packrat has no racial prejudices.
Pet peeves and gripes: The Packrat is very neat and tidy, and detests messiness and slobbishness. She will often clean any messes she finds and grumble the whole time. If the person that made the mess is present when she cleans, they are treated to a good chewing out.
Temperament: Very easy going and cheerful. The Packrat often comes across as less intelligent than she really is, but this is more of an unfamiliarity with the intricasies of socialization then any real lack of intelligence on her part. Because she has had little life experiance dealing with others on a social level she can sometimes bee much too forward and inquisitive.
General personality: Giggly, friendly, open, and good natured
Eccentiricities: The Packrat avoids harsh light when possible, feeling more comfortable in low light environments.

The Historical Packrat

Date of Birth: July 22, 1981
Known relatives: Mate (Husband), Charlene ( Daughter), Juan Jordin ( Father, deceased), Marta Jordin( Mother, missing, presumed deceased)
Family Background: The Jordin family extends back to the time of the Conquistadores, starting with Manuel Geordinoza. The surname was changed to Jordin ( pronounced Hor-deen) by the Packrat's Great-Grandfather.

Grades Achieved in School: Negligable
Past Occupations: Assassin for Crey Industries.

The Superhero Packrat


Known Superhuman Powers: The Packrat is a genetic mutant with heightened senses. Her vision is clear enough to allow her to read fine print clearly at sixty feet, and extends into the ultraviolet which allows her to see in the dark to varying degrees. Under a cloudy night, she can see as if it were the height of noon. In absolute darkness, she can see clearly at a distance of 45 feet. Her sense of smell enables her to identify 1 mismtached scent in 1000; she can track people by simply obtaining a sample of their scent and then spending time filtering all scents to locate the correct one. If she were attempting to track someone through Paragon City, she would need to study the aromas of the area for several hours. In addition, the Packrat has been equppied with several additional powers by Crey Industries scientists. Her entire molecular structure is conciously controlled by several implants along her spine, connected to her nervous system. These implants allow her to shut off pain receptors completely; making her, in essence, invulnerable. They can also alter the energy output of her muscle structure which enables her to make leaps of up to 100 yards at a time. Implanted in the bones of her forearms are a total of six foot long blades composed of polymer titanium. These 'claws' generate a minor tachyon field that allows them to slice through almost every known substance. In order to prevent her body from rejecting these implants, Crey amplified her natural healing ability. Also embedded in each palm is a tesseract device which enables her to distort distance which allows her to pull objects and people through real space directly to her.
Special Skills, Abilities, and Talents: As an assassin, The Packrat is considered to have Military level expertise with evading detection, espionage, hand to hand combat, and disarming security systems.
Special Heroic Training: None
Cause of Superhuman Powers: Genetic mutation coupled with deliberate technological modification.
Motivation to become a Superhero: To find her missing mother and strike back at the organization responsible for murdering her father. While the Packrat hears the suggestions that her mother may be dead, her heart tells her otherwise and so she continues her relentless search hoping that some criminal, somewhere, will have the information that will reunite her with her mother.
Long Term Goals: To utterly destroy Crey Industries.

Past group Affiliations: Crey Industries, Leader of the King's Row Crusaders.

The Interview!
 
Q: Packrat, what makes you uncomfortable?
  What makes me uncomfortable? People do. I'm not one for fame and fortune, that kind of stuff. So when someone rushes up to me on the street wanting an autograph or something, I get nervous. I even had one sweet man offer to take me out to dinner. ( laughs). I don't look like other people, and while I appreciate most people overlook that, it still embarrasses me. I'm happy letting Toshiko or Nyghtfall be in the spotlight, they deserve it more.
 
Q. What's the most painful thing in your life?
  You mean now? Nothing. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful baby girl, so I'm content. But overall, I think the loss of my childhood. I never had one, and in some ways I suppose I'm still a big kid. But I missed so much, stuff I can't get now. But I'll give it to my daughter, and that'll be enough.
 
Q Have you ever been arrested?
  (laughing) No.
 
Q. What are the political and social issues most important to you?
   Aye cabron, you'd have to ask me that! (laughs) Racism. That's the first on my list. I don't understand why people have to get weirded out by the color of someone's skin, or scales, or fur, or whatever, si? It just doesn't make sense to me. We're all the same, under the skin. Politics I don't pay much attention to, because it's all about power. It isn't about serving the best needs of the people anymore, it's about serving the best needs of the Party or yourself. So...si.
 
Q. What's your opinion on abortion?
  A woman has a right to choose. Always.
 
Q. What about environmental issues?
  Oh, si! We need to stop abusing the planet. Seriously. (laughs) Where do we go from here? I have no problem with cities and all of that, and I love Paragon's sewers, but think about the parks with their roses and Perez with it's wonderful woods. We should never lose those things.
 
Q. Do you have an opinion on homosexuality?
  (laughs) Yes. Leave people alone in how they choose to express themselves sexually. It's nobody's business but their own. Aye pinche!
 
Q. What's your opinion on Military Intervention?
  I don't really have one.
 
Q. What about crime and gun control?
  Oh, big issues. Well obviously, my opinion on crime is obvious. Get a job instead! (laughs) But you know, as long as there's society there's going to be crime, we can't ever really stamp it out. But, you know, we have the police and the secret service and stuff and of course us heroes. That's such a funny word, heroes. We'll all heroes, really. I'm no more of a hero than the lady that refuses to give her purse to the (Outcast) Buckshot. I don't think gun control works. If you law down a law refusing guns, the criminals which just ignore it like they ignore other laws, and the citizens will suffer.
 
Q. Do you have a political party?
  I guess it would be conservative republican, because that's what my papa was. I haven't voted yet though.
